Colleges

The three colleges i did research on were University of Houston, Texas A&M, and Houston Baptist University.
U of H is 15.3 miles away form home and that is why i want to go there because it's so close. The school is pretty big, it is 667 acres. It's in an urban co-ed school located in Houston. If you are in the top 15% you don't have a SAT requirement. If you are 15%-50% you need a 1000 score on the SAT. For Tuition, room and board is $16,418. To apply you need a high school diploma or GED, have to be a U.S. citizen, and a SSN. Some things they have at the university is chapels, healthcare, daycare, sports and fitness center. They have sororities, fraternities, and sports.
Texas A&M is an hour and half away from Houston. The school is really big. It's 5,200 acres big. It's a 4-6 year school, it is also an urban school and co-ed. Your GPA has to be a 3.2 and have an SAT score of 1210. Tuition room and board is $24,803, a lot more than the U of H. Some Financial Aid dates are March 1,2011 and September 30,2011. You can get an apartment with a roommate if you like or just for yourself. Texas A&M also has sports, sorority and fraternities.
Houston Baptist University is pretty much around the corner from my house its super close. It's a smaller school it's just 100 acres big. It's and urban, christian co-ed school. You need to have an SAT score of 1250, ACT score of 27, two recommendation letters, and a 3.2 GPA to apply. It's a private university so its more expensive than public universities. They have hall facilities where guys and girls are seperated. You can have a roommate if you want as well. Some things they offer at this university is counseling, liberal art, and many other things.
